DSS Transcription Module has speed control, automatic backspace and file management functionality. It plays the highly compressed dss file format and the regular .wave universal format.

The software can be configured to automatically list all untyped files waiting in your workgroup, and works exceptionally well with Olympus DS recorders. Other features include automatic scanning of you email inbox for new files, minimised typing display for more screen space when typing, and customisable folders.

The footpedal comes with USB and serial connections allowing two ways to connect it to your computer.

• Important information such as author identification, time/date, recording length, work types, priority etc. at a glance
• Efficient organisation with information on job status: e.g. finished, pending or cancel job
• File management through separate folders, in/out-trays
• Automatic reception of e-mails directly into a corresponding in-tray
• Intro scan for the fast overview of all voice files
• Playback speed control, footswitch settings like auto-backspace
• Conversion from DSS to WAVE file format
• Voice recognition (if ViaVoice is installed) for automatic transcription

Compatibility This kit will read and play back DSS/WMA/WAV file types, however the playback speed cannot be adjusted for non-dss files (all other functions work). Recommended for use with any DSS recorder, including theDS-4000, DS-330, DS-3000, DS-2000, DM-20, DS-320, DS-150, Dictaphone 5210, Grundig Digta, and Philips Recorders (PC ONLY).
