The PC footswitch RS-24 can be connected to your PC either via USB or serial port. It allows typists the hands free controlling of the DSS Player Transcription software.

The RS-24 is only supplied within the AS-3000 and AS-2000 transcription kits.

Compatibility is assured with Winscribe, Olympus AS-3000, Olympus AS-2000.

Please Note

The RS-24 is only supplied as a replacement for RS-24's that have failed outside of warranty and are unecomonical to repair, or for use with a third-party transcription kit that provide the drivers and software with their package.

We make no assurances that this foot-control will work with any third-party software/drivers, and the foot controls do include any CDROM or downloadable device drivers for any platform (despite the switches compatibility with Mac & Windows).

We do know that Winscribe can provide the device drivers for PC with their application, but this is only provided from Winscribe - not us or Olympus.
